Did you know that Richard had been exposed to music from a very early age? His father, Dick Marx (and I CANNOT laugh hard enough at that name :lol: dick marks....lmao), was a musician, vocal coach, and wrote commercial jingles.

He has three sons with wife Cynthia, who was the lead singer for Animotion, and who starred in his "Don't Mean Nothing" video.

OK...what do you know about Dick Marx's son?

Before he released his first album, Richard Marx sang on commercials and was a backing vocalist for Lionel Richie.

1989's Repeat Offender generated a string of three consecutive number one hits in America — "Hold on to the Nights," "Satisfied," and "Right Here Waiting."

Didja know Richard Marx sang backing vocals on Chicago 17 and wrote "Edge of a broken heart" for Vixen and was in the video.
