This time around you will pick the best drama movie of 1981. Six choices, plus an other option if you have another choice besides what is listed. If you pick "other" please tell me which one you are voting for in a post and type "other" next to it. Two weeks to vote. This voting session will end on 10/26/02. Have fun! :)

My vote goes to "Mommie Dearest". Faye Dunaway does an excellent job of playing actress Joan Crawford.

Voted for Endless Love. The movie had plenty of faults, but it's the only one from the list I've seen :D

I really love Taps, On Golden Pond, and Mommie Dearest, but I think OGP is the best of the three.

I voted for On Golden Pond. It was Henry Fonda's final role, and he was awarded the Oscar posthumously. You can really see the strained relationship between Henry and his daughter Jane throughout the movie, and Katherine Hepburn, quite simply, is the greatest and most talented actress that has ever graced the silver screen...

I like "Mommie Dearest" best out of the ones listed that I've seen. Joan Crawford as a mother would give me the creeps.:vibrator:

"I told you to keep the children out of the garden! Christina... Christopher... Dammit..."

It's the only one I saw from that list, and I only saw it because I was stuck at someone's place who was watching it. Like most early 80s dramas it bored me to tears. I guess I shouldn't have really voted at all. Ah well, too late now.

As a poster for the movie said...

"THE BADDEST MOTHER OF THEM ALL!"

I'm voting for "Mommie Dearest".

Sincerely,

I voted for Mommie Dearest. That movie freaked me out! I still can't figure out why she tied that boy to the bed every darn night!
