I am doing a project on the 80s and need to focus on fashion models for now, especially Ian Buchanan who apparently was one of the most photogrpahed faces. Admittedly that was in Europe but he did move to the US when in the early-mideighties. Does anyone here have any information on him? Such as photos from modelling shoots, the Emporio Armani line (early pictures would be greatly appreciated) or anyhting on him, concerning him.

Wasen't he on the soap opera General Hospital?? I had no idea he was or is a model. <img src="biggrin.gif" border="0">

yeah, then he left to do the Bold and the Beautiful and now he's doing a guest appearance on Days of Our Lives. And he was also on Twin Peaks.

What do you think of him? Or shouldn't I ask? I was also thinking of contacting him personally but maybe that isn't such a great idea.

Me, I think he's cute but never thought much else <img src="smile.gif" border="0"> Don't follow him enough to give fair opinion <img src="smile.gif" border="0">

I still haven't decided whether he's cute or not. There's something dramatic about him. Or maybe I'm just saying that because I need to find out about his modelling days and I'm not getting anywhere. Guess I'll write him a letter <img src="wink.gif" border="0"> LOL

Seriously though, any ideas where I can get info?
