Tonight, I decided to organize my CD collection. This might sound like a small amount to some of you, who probably have thousands of CDs, but I have 179 CDs. The most CDs I have are from three Time-Life collections I get (Sounds of the Seventies, Modern Rock and Sounds of the Eighties). I also have a very eclectic musical tastes. I mean I have CDs from ABBA, Pink Floyd, Enya, The Dixie Chicks and Meatloaf. And jen* I even have the Altered Images album, "I Could Be Happy (Best of, which I have in my CD player ready to listen to after the Xanadu soundtrack).
I'm planning on putting my list on my website. After I get it up I'll post the URL so you can check it out. Probably by the end of the year I'll have over 200, with the Time-Life collections I'm getting. Those are great collections, especially the Sounds of the Seventies and the Modern Rock collections.

Yeah...like bugging the record execs?

I'm currently owning about 1,300 CDs and 300 pieces of Vinyl, plus about 30 CDRs and a harddrive stuffed with rare tracks from the 80s as .mp3-files. Unfortunately, I had just sorted out a number of older tapes due to the fact that they were ruined by storing them too long - some of them hadn't seen the daylight again for more than 15 years, and even using high quality material didn't prevented the "copy through-effect" or clogging band on the reels.

I have an older list of all my treasures - the respective program I had used went bang! after the last crash of my system, and I'm still searching for a reliable alternative.

I've got about 200 CD's - I have about 8 Sheena Easton albums (2 collections), plus greatest hits by Duran Duran, Abba, Depeche Mode, Heaven 17, ABC, Joboxers, Secret Affair, Talk Talk and others.

They're doing "5 for £30" at V-Shop currently and I was able to get "Songs from the Big Chair" by Tears for Fears, which is a classic album from the 80's. I remember having this album on cassette when I originally bought it, the CD adds the US remixes of "Mothers Talk" and "Shout" which was No. 1 in the States in 1985.

I've got about 100 cd's.. had alot more vinyl and cassettes and only got a cd player about 7 years ago. most are 70's and 80's (alot of best of or greatest hits ) . Since I got my cd burner a couple years ago, I've probably burned 200 cd's but lose alot or never take care of them properly.
