Does anyone have any tapes of any 80s commercials? I don't know what it is about those, but I love them! I happened to be watching an old video of mine and some commercials were on it. Now I'd like to collect some more.

Have you checked Amazon.com? or maybe even E-bay? You might get lucky and find them.

"Plop Plop Fizz Fizz, oh what a relief it is!!!"
"I'm a pepper, she's a pepper, wouldn't you like to be a pepper too"
"Two all beef patties, special sauce, lettuce, cheese, pickles, onions on a sesame seed bun! BIG MAC!"
"Where's the beef?!"
"Nyquil, the nighttime sniffling, sneezing, coughing, aching, stuffy head, fever so you can rest medicine."

ooohh.. I could go on and on!!

Is the Tootsie Roll commercial from the 80s? You know, the one that goes 'Tootsie roll how I love your chocolatey chew, Tootsie roll I think I'm in love with you, Whatever it is I think I see, Becomes a Tootsie Roll to me.' It's almost sick that we remember this odd stuff.

You'd like to think so, wouldn't you?

I don't know about that Tootsie Roll commercial, although I do remember it well. Remember the other one with the owl and the kid? "Mr. Owl, how many licks does it take to get to the Tootsie Roll center of a Tootsie Pop?" "Lets find out. 1...2...3...CRUNCH!!. Three". "How many licks DOES it take to get to the Tootsie Roll center of a Tootsie Pop? The world may never know".

If I was that kid, I would have PUNISHED that owl for eating my candy!! http://www.80sxchange.com/ubb/smilies//smile.gif

Remember the Max Headroom commercials? I used to love those and then they had the show! It was neat. Is the one that says"Ancient Chinese Secret" for that laundry detergent from 80s or is that 70's?

I've got you covered here, too. While I'm looking for Challenger, I'll get commercials, too. Listen to the radio in the 80s? I've got radio comms from back then, too! Let me know everything you're looking for from back then.

I think I've posted this link before, but take a look atThe 80's TV Theme Supersite (http://www.80stvthemes.com/) for a great collection of commercial jingles of the 80's. Most of them are audio only, but quite a few are video also. There's also a butt-load of 80's TV show themes there too. :D

I collect 80s commercials! I figure if still get them stuck in my head after 15-20 years, there's no harm in pursuing them. :D

Here's a great site with some...
http://members.nbci.com/80sVidcaps/index2.html

My friend Jennifer has a few more on her site, including Crispy Critters cereal, one of my alltime faves.
http://www.angelfire.com/fl4/queenoftheuniverse/wavs.html

I also have several on my laptop at home, collected from various sources, if anyone wants to trade or share.

I'm really looking for a sound file of the Fruity Marshmallow Krispies commercial from '86-'87 if anyone has that... **bats eyelashes**

There're weren't very many Transformers comic-book commercials. In fact, there were only three... Transformers: Headmasters #1 (of 4)
Not yet Headmasters, Fortress Maximus and Scorponok duke it out!
Transformers #40
The Autobot and Decepticon Pretenders make their debut.
Transformers #42
The Autobot and Decepticon Powermasters make their debut! Also...OPTIMUS PRIME (himself a Powermaster) makes a BIG (figuratively and literally) comeback!!!
