I was at the grocery store, and some guy came up to me and asked if I would ever consider selling my shirt..(I was wearing my Def Leppard Hysteria shirt)...I told him probably not...He said that he has a friend who is collecting 80's concert T's that are in good to excellent condition, and he's been looking for a Def Leppard one. He said...If you give me your shirt, I'll pay you $50! Did Mystie sell it??? Nope! Should she have? Maybe...But, I love my shirt! Can't just part with something that I like that easily.
Anyway, I thought it was a funny story and just wanted to share!

I think he was assuming you'd sell it right then and there. ;) ;)

Don't blame you Myst, I have one of those shirts to.... I bought it at the mall & was so happy to have it I changed my shirt in the car on the way home! My husband thought I was nuts :D

That's funny because I bought an Hysteria shirt from a record store in the mall in '88 or '89. Unfortunately, I do not have it anymore. :( I have a picture of me wearing it somewhere though. I don't think I would have sold that shirt either.

That's what my husband thought too! :D
From what I can remember paying for Band T's back in the 80s Mystie - he wasn't offering you a very good deal anyways. :) Keep the shirt! :)
Smart move holding on to that shirt. Hysteria memories are worth much more than $50.
