Hmmmm first time I heard a Poison song was a bar band playing "Talk Dirty to Me" in 1988. I went out and got the album.
I saw them in 91 in Vancouver and was dissappointed with C.C's guitar playing, he couldn't play that Ibanez worth crap. Bret was great but all he would have to do is stand there on the stage and I would be happy http://www.80sxchange.com/ubb/biggrin.gif.
Anyways as a whole I like Poison, but as Nikki said C.C gets on my nerves as well MHO!

Well, unfortunatly, he's probably a weak link in the band. I'm sure he's plenty talented! But CC was probably the weakest when it came to drugs. I'm sure that must have been the problem. Yeah, CC went throught a lot of BS... its hard to reach such a high goal and to fall down so fast. But he's back. I've always loved Bret, but CC is the coolest person ever, he's a total sweetie and very nice to the fans... so I kinda always sticked to him through the good and bad. Cause love him or hate him, Poison isn't POISON without him.

The first time that I can remember first hearing POISON was when I heard TALK DIRTY TO ME.

I can't really remember. Probably on a local rock station in Maine (like TOS or something) when I was playing with my brothers.

I first saw them on Dial MTV... video was "talk Dirty To Me" My parents didnt let me watch MTV but grandma didnt care,lol..thats where I was.. and Tydestra i agree with you about Bret Michaels.. yummmy..:)

All I can remember was the first time I had Ramen noodles was the same time I first heard Poison. I always associate the 2.

The first song I ever heard by them was probably 'Talk Dirty To Me'...I don't remember what I was doing though.
