Thursday, September 5 on VH-1:

Bon Jovi performs a live concert in Times Square before the NFL 2002 season kick-off. This unprecedented day of music and football-themed festivities leads to the first-ever NFL season kickoff on a Thursday as the San Francisco 49ers play the New York Giants at Giants Stadium.

Bon Jovi, one of America's preeminent bands, headlines the event and performs at halftime of the game. The event and game coincide with Bon Jovi's upcoming October album release of "Bounce." At the Times Square event and during halftime at Giants Stadium, Bon Jovi will perform their new single "Everyday" for the first time in front of a live audience.

7pm Eastern/6 pm Central and will be shown in repeats the next few days after. Check for showtimes.

Who watched it tonight? Who actually was there? I watched it on TV and the band looked and sounded great! I heard too that the album will be released October 8th.

I watched it on TV. AWESOME! As usual! :D

I just saw the halftime show, too. For halftime, they just played one song - "Everyday" and the sound was awful to start (not the band, just the mix), but got better toward the end. They were amazing again, of course!
:D
Yes, October 8 here in the States...! I'm counting the days!

I was there!!! And I was on TV - at least twice!! I was also on TRL. If you want to watch for me in repeats, I was on during "You Give Love A Bad Name" and "Bad Medicine". I was in the front row by the football shaped stage, and I'm wearing glasses and a black top. It was SO amazing. And I got to touch Enrique Iglesias! :D

Wow you're so lucky Christine!!!

I had wanted to go so badly but was unable to at the last minute I had to work! But I saw the whole thing on VH1 thank God. They were SO AWESOME! I'd never seen Jon and Richie look so good and they sounded great. It was such a good show.

You know I saw it on VH1 on Thursday night and they sang Bad Medicine and then I saw it again last night on VH1 and they didn't sing that song but they sang Just Older. That was weird. Plus in this one they showd Jon singing America the Beautiful. Good thing I taped both versions! That was very touching at the end with the flag coming out. :)

I will so be buying the cd on October 8th!
