View Full Version : What 5 Music Videos Say The 80s To You?
Iluvthe80s 12-02-01, 08:04 PM If you were trying to describe the 80's to someone younger by using visuals, what 5 80's music videos would you use?
These are my picks:
I would want to show different forms of music from the 80's that was popular.
One hair band: Twisted Sister's "We're Not Gonna Take It"
Pop: Michael Jackson's "Billie Jean"
New Wave: A Flock Of Seagull's "I Ran"
Then maybe Duran Duran's "The Reflex" to show an 80's concert. Finally, maybe, something like Culture Club's "Do You Really Want To Hurt Me" for a different twist on style of the 80's. This is hard just picking 5 because their are so many. Pick your 5 that you would use. (It doesn't have to be different genres.)

80s hair 12-03-01, 02:34 PM These 5 videos scream "overplayed" in the 80s. But if you know nothing of 80s videos because you were to young or not born, these would be a start.
