hi there. i was born on 1979.
dogtanian and the muskethounds hit greek tv on 1986 i believe.
in greek its called D’Artagnan! all the characters had the original novel names!
dog is 'skylos' in greek so it would sound stupid to make the cartoon skylosanian...anyway.
it was one of my favorites and it marked my childhood
i was too young though and didn't understand what was happening. at the begining (the first year it was broadcasted) it had subtitles and i couldn't read fast enough so u see...
the soundtrack is one of my all time favorite tunes.
now i'm 23 and i haven't forgoten it. i guess i'll never forget it.
80's sucked in many ways. peoples hair and clothing SUCKED. the cold war sucked too. 80's polititians sucked. However, the 80's had some of the greatest cartoons (maybe the greatest ever).
thundercats, heathcliff, dogtanian, robotech, smurfs, inspector cadget, saber rider... i could go on forever. i was very lucky to be a kid at the 80's. 90's was fine to be a teenager but not a kid. 90's cartoons sucked. (excluding teenage mutant hero turtles and the simpsons which is actually an adult cartoon...)
anyway. nice job at the forum. its people like u who keep our memories alive. its definatly worth all the time u have dedicated for this time cause u've made many people including me happy.
