A free dinner is riding on this one, guys. I remember that MTV had a contest around 1986 where they asked viewers to record their own videos to a Madonna song. I say the song was "True Blue", but my sister seems to think it was "Open Your Heart"... I remember watching MTV show countless tacky versions of "True Blue" for a twenty four hour period... So, who's right???

It was "True Blue" and they did show those videos for hours. The one that one was black and white.

the actual day was called "True blue Tuesday". they showed every entry all day long. Later Madonna made her own video for the song. To be honest her version sucked and the homemade one was great!

I agree with you on that one, DJ... Madonna's video for "True Blue" was not her best video. But, I must say it was better than that frightful "Justify My Love" porno movie...
