In the early and mid-'80s, I didn't have MTV...even though I had (and still have) cable! At that time, MTV just wasn't a part of the local cable company's basic channel lineup...yet!
However, there was another source for music videos: TBS' NIGHT TRACKS.
One '80s video I remember seeing on TBS' Night Tracks was Murray Head's One Night In Bangkok.
Another video I remember was Stan Bush's The Touch. It's a song available on Transformers: The Movie's soundtrack, by the way.
TBS ditched Night Tracks years ago, but I still remember it--even today.
