This week we go back to the horror genre. You are voting for what you feel is the best horror movie of 1987. Six choices plus your option to pick "other" and write on in that is not on the list. I know "The Lost Boys" was not a good choice, but according to IMdB it can fall under the "horror" genre. Anyways, this voting session will end on 9/7/02. Have fun! :)

Oh boy this was extremely tough .... All fliks listed are very entertaining (except Jaws). Fliks I can watch again and again and again and again and .... Well you get the picture.

I ended up voting for Evil Dead 2 ..... It's not really a horror, more of a splatter flik, but I just have a thing for gore and fun :D

Much like a pageant I'd like to say; You're all winners (yup I'm talking to the fliks, so what ? I'm an old man, I'm allowed to be weird :lol: )

Well, my vote came down to two of the movies listed. I picked Hellraiser because I have trouble with putting The Lost Boys in the Horror genre.

I'm an Elm Street freak...no matter how much it moved away from it's scary roots in the original, it's one of my all time favorite series of movies....gotta give it the dupe :p

Close second is definitely Hellraiser :verycool:

I said Jaws: The Revenge. I will watch Jaws even though I've seen it 25 times, whenever it is on. And it doesn't matter which of the series it is, either, which makes it even more weird....:lol:

I decided to go with Creepshow 2 for this one. I always enjoyed those types of horror movies. Too bad they didn't make a Creepshow 3.

Hellraiser, Creepshow 2, The Lost boys and Freddie were all great movies, but I just has to vote for Evil Dead 2, as this was the one who made the biggest impact on me at the time - not horror wise though - but still.

Definitely a great year for horrors. In fact the entire decade was great for horrors.

I voted for Evil Dead 2 because it was funny, gross and scarey all at the same time. Hellraiser was a close second.
