Does anyone know of any videos that turned out totally weird - things appearing that just shouldn't be there, myths and rumours about videos etc.

I love cool stuff like this (aka 3 men and a baby urban legend....)

Huey Lewis and the News video... If This is it, if you watch it closely, in the scene where two women in bikini's are covering one of the band members then they sit up. One of girls has her nipple exposed and it has never been edited out

In the Duran Duran video for "Union of The Snake" there is an extra guy laying down on the ground towards the end when the fireworks start. John and Roger are in the truck, Simon's running around and Nick and Andy are below ground. So who the heck is that????

That has been bothering me for over 17 years now.

To answer your question, Zel, no, I haven't noticed this stuff. I have seen some of it in movies, though, where a person will be wearing a red dress on one side of the room, and by the time they walk to other side the dress is yellow. LOL I never noted the movies, though, sorry.

I like the part in Madonna's "Papa Don't Preach" video where she is doing her little dance and when she throws her head and arms back, her boobs pop out of her bustier for a split second before the shot fades away. Good thing for those pause buttons...

Never noticed those things in the film clips. I do have them as well so maybe I have some looking to do.... :D

I do love watching movies to catch the bloopers though. Some are so obvious you wonder why the editors never picked up on them??? As for myths, legends and rumours...will try and see if I can do a search for some on the net for ya's!

I was watching VH-1 Classics on Sunday (they showed nothing but 80s videos the entire day) when the Huey Lewis & the News video came on for "If This Is It". I watched the scene referred to very closely, and, indeed, the woman's nipple is in clear view for at least two seconds!!!

Stevie Nicks filmed a video for the "Edge Of Seventeen". It was a big budget video, at least for that time. Stevie is sitting in her living room speaking the opening lyrics to the song and longingly looks at a framed photograph and then we, as viewers, are transported to a big plantation home in the south ala 'Gone With The Wind'. Stevie is racing up to the house on horseback searching for someone, she runs through the house and up the stairs. She is wearing period costume. The storyline is grand, the war torn south and Stevie searching for her man. I thought this video should've been released, but it was forever shelved because it was rumored that Stevie thought she looked too fat in the video. She was bone thin in '81. Go figure. :confused:

Stevie was probably bone thin at the time due to her addiction to cocaine. Just look at Whitney Houston now!!! :eek: She also suffered from a distorted body image. At any rate, I think Stevie looks more beautiful and radiant now that she's not stick thin and addicted to drugs. I also think she's more comfortable in her own skin. I wish I would have had the chance to see the video that you described, Trix, as it sounds like a beautiful video!!! :)

I don't think anyone ever noticed, Pop up video . and the music channels used to play the video uneditted. I guess one could say it's a sick mind that could find a split second glance of an escaped nipple in an 80's video but I'd like to think it's me noticing and telling is my gift to the world:D

I love this kind of stuff..... I heard in the Wizard of Oz, you can see a shadow of a munchkin hanging himself! My cuz told me they edited it out years later. Did anyone else hear of this??

I had heard that also, but it's has become an urban legend so to speak. According to IMDB the true story isAt the beginning of the "We're off to see the wizard" sequence, there is a disturbance in the trees off to the right. This was rumored to be one of the crew hanging himself, but is in fact an animal handler recapturing an escaped animal.
