Did anyone else catch Madonna's concert performance on HBO last night? It was an awesome show, needless to say. It was broadcast live from Detroit, her old stomping grounds. She didn't perform too many of her 80s hits, but the show was fantastic regardless. Madonna just amazes me!!! :)

I saw some of it. She does a lot to make up for a not so good voice live. Good sound! The show is cool, but I am more impressed with the bands who come out and play their music without too many gimmicks. Reminds me more of a music video than a live concert.

I wish I could have seen it. I bet it was a great show :)

I like her voice and if I was paying over $100 for a ticket I would expect a lot of "gimmicks" :) I want to be entertained, not put to sleep :)

I like her voice too..in a studio. It doesn't always hold up that well live though. I still think that showing a music video while she changes clothes again and again, is too much gimmick and not enough live. $100 or not - It was a cool show.

I haven't seen this show, but what you are saying is that, while she is backstage changing her outfit, a music video of hers is playing on a big screen?

If that's the case I can understand why you say what you do. :) I wouldn't want to pay all that money to watch some video that I have seen a thousand times on Mtv already. :)

I missed it??....I wanted to see her concert special. :rolleyes: $100!?!? For one person?? :eek: Yeah right :p

They are actually showing the Madonna concert again on HBO right now! They showed it last night as well. Maybe they'll show it every night this week, who knows?
