whatever85 8-22-01, 01:46 PM Wasn't that video by a-ha amazing! It used live action with animation with a great story line!
Please tell me what you think of it!
Cyneman(Known as Cindy in the 80's)
morningmyst 8-22-01, 02:11 PM I think that most of us would agree that was a good video. Definately made me look at "comic" books in a new way! :)
I loved it, when i first saw it i cried. I wanted to find a man like that a man who was sexy and could sing ..
He had the greatest looking butt.
That video amazed me.. i love the way they switch back and forth.
djdaffy1227 8-22-01, 03:23 PM perhaps one of the best videos ever.
80sTrivia 8-22-01, 05:04 PM I would have to place "Take On Me" at the top of the list of the best videos of the 80s. You can see the influence in today's videos such as in the Incubus video for "I'll Be There". The band members stated in an interview that they were inspired by the a-ha video while making their own.
MDC: Official Stalker of the adorable DD86 :D
Roemello 8-22-01, 05:16 PM What do I think of it? One of my favorite videos of all time! :D Not only that, but it's the video that re-sparked my interest in 80's music around 1998ish when I found an old tape I had of videos off of MTV in the 80's :D
Now of course I'm too lazy to find that tape again in the attic, so I just go to Launch.com and watch it over there :p
TRIVIA QUESTION!!!!
What OTHER video was the girl from that video in? It is from the same time frame!
Caligula 8-22-01, 11:09 PM was it "the sun always shines on tv" also by aha

Launch.com? Is it easy to download videos there? Can you watch new videos?
BTW, I love the a-ha video :) I never get tired of watching it. ;)
wavemaster 8-24-01, 01:11 PM Uh...be sure to spell launch.com correct...otherwise, you may find this:
Larry's Awesome University of Masterbation, Chicks, and Horniness
Just wanted to let you know... :D

Roemello 8-24-01, 04:55 PM Yes tc, it's easy to use. The videos are all streaming, so you just search for the song video title or artist you want to watch, click on the watch video icon, and off ya go ;)
TY ROem :) I can't wait to check it out.
TY wave :p LOL WHEW! Thanks for the warning. I will make a note of that!
*is secretly curious about the other launch site*
AHHHHHH-HA.
I just went to launch and watched "Take on me", twice. What a feeling of nostalgia. I forgot how good that video was, is.
I was in Norway in 1986, and constantly looked on the streets, sure I would bump into A-HA. My cousin actually hung around Pal, before they became famous. AHHHHH!!
*she says dreamingly*
MTV2 (it's not yet available on cable, but it is available locally...via WBXK-CA, channel 8 and W49BX, channel 49) showed the Take On Me video one night.
So what other Video was she in. This is definitely in my top Ten list of videos as well as the Sun Always Signs on Tv. He is just dreamy.
I agree Milani - nice cheeks LOL
Sorry, I posted that question, then disappeared for a while, so here is the answer. The girl in the video was also in, Don Henley's "All she wants to do is Dance" Video. She was a back up singer. There you have it.
so the same chick was in two A-ha videos?
hmmm...wonder what possessed them to do that?
could it be...........
SATAN?!?
Wavey, thanks for link-
i mean, warning.
