For some reason, I think that "Looks That Kill" and "Talk Dirty To Me" are 2 of the funniest videos... they are also really cool! Hot For Teacher is also funny...

Anything w/David Lee Roth was ALWAYS a riot!! My personal fave was "Just a Gigalo". I love it when he falls out of the sky next to Willie Nelson; or when he knocks Billy Idol into those transformers. It's a classic.

Other funny ones that I can think of;

"Big Talk" - Warrant
"Hot For Teacher" - Van Halen
"Round N' Round" - Ratt (Milton Berle was hysterical to me)
"Fight For Your Right (to Party)" & "No Sleep 'Till Brooklyn" - Beastie Boys

Any "Weird" Al video was a riot, of course.

I'm not sure if this was in the 80's or early 90's but Biz Markie's "Just a Friend" video was funny.

David Lee Roth does make a good video I must admit. The best singer Van Halen has had. He's got personality! I only saw Hot For the Teacher for the first time a few weeks ago actually. Beastie Boys and Weird Al are really worth watching in film clips. http://www.80sxchange.com/ubb/biggrin.gif

Hi Everyone:
Here are five 80s videos you may get a chuckle from:
1. Genesis - "Anything She Does"(w/Benny Hill as security? Yeah, right!)
2. Nolan Thomas - "Yo Little Brother"(kids pretending to be Boy George, Prince, Billy Idol, etc.)
And speaking of Boy George:
3. Moe Bandy and Joe Stampley - "Where's The Dress?"(country artists try to come to terms with Boy George's popularity)
4. Rodney Dangerfield - "Rappin' Rodney"(even Pat Benatar makes a cameo in this!)
5. Chicago - "Stay The Night"(can't say I've ever hung on to the side of a car to try to win the woman of my dreams!)
Let me know if you remember any of these!

Gunner Girl, maybe my mind is on overload but wasn't Milton Berle in Ratt's "Back for More" video with him riding a motorbike? Maybe he was in Round and Round as well http://www.80sxchange.com/ubb/confused.gif
Anyways whichever one it was it was funny!

Mine was 'We're Not Gonna Take It' by Twisted Sister. I watched that so many times
I could recite sequence at the start with the dad yelling his face off at his 'I wanna rock' son
my favorite line was:
"you're worthless and weak
you do nothing you are nothing
you sit in here all day and play that sick,
repulsive, electric twanger!!!!"

The clip was real a real slapstick crack-up!

I always thought Cyndi Lauper's videos were funny, she's so unusual.

Eurthymics - Beethoven (I love to listen to) is an unusual video with some humor in it.

I also liked Annie Lennox's Walking on Broken Glass.

"Crosseyed and Painless" by Talking Heads is a hilarious video but I think it's from the late 70s, though but it's close enough and still damn funny and It's not really funny on purpose like Falco's "Der Kommissar". ABC's "The Look of Love" is pretty funny, too, I like how that old guy eats spaghetti, reminds me of my dad. And "Putting On The Ritz" is also funny, that Taco guy has a lightsaber!

I also forgot Roman Holiday's "Stand By". Those guys are such dorks!

David Lee Roth - "Goin' Crazy"

The first five minutes of this video had no music whatsoever. It starts off with DLR, as the fat Picasso Brother, doing a donut in the middle of the street in a classic convertible Cadillac. Great video.

Picasso Brother #1: "Come on, are we gonna sit here 'til you grow three more chins, or are you gonna tell the band what you want?"

Picasso Brother #2: "Alright, I'll do it, I'll do it. Gentlemen, I'll have turkey on rye with swiss, throw in the rest of the turkey and a bucket of tofu!"

Huey Lewis and the News - "Happy to be Stuck with You"

Frankie Goes to Hollywood - "Two Tribes" (Ronnie kicking Gorbachev's ass was too funny)

Any Weird Al.
Wunderbar by Tenpole Tudor.
Make A Circuit by The Polecats.
Love is a Battlefield, unintentionally funny cheesy, by Pat Benatar. We called it Love is a Pantyshield.

All the talk of D L Roth reminds me of my brother. He's a fab guitarist and he liked watching Eddie Van Halen play. We would watch videos, and I can still hear my brother yelling, "G-D***!! Everytime they show Eddie play I can't see anything for that A***HOLE sticking his mug in front of the camera!!"

Hot for the Teacher was OFF THE Hook, reminds me of the times when I was in Haverhill, Massachusetts. yes, the same place that gave birth to Rob Zombie

I actually liked the video for "Land of Confusion" as well.

I loved that video, it meant something was wrong when I was like 8 and now i know Reagan WAS a hater........................

I actually like that song because of David Lee Roth, not the band, but his personality in the video...............LOL

Damn, it I love the Decepticons...............

"Survivor" "Can't hold back". They were all on the subway, Jimie checking out the girl, and all the other members played different parts. Nun,bum, wall street guy, it was so cute at the time. That is when I fell in love with the group.
