I loved Van Halen with DLR! He rocked and he was the life in most of their videos. My absolute favorite Van Halen Video was "Hot for Teacher", I loved that video, they seemed so bad ass, and it was fun to see what the kid-like versions of them were!

I have a personal boycott against Van Halen. WHY? you ask. Well, when I was 14 or 15 when Van Halen was at thier hugest (is that a word?) I was "too young" to go see them (at least that is what mom said.) so dave leaves the band and I finally get to see VH with Sammy Hagar, who I really love. But the show I saw was on Sammy's Birthday, and the entire band was drunk. They only played for about 1 hour 20 minutes. Then, at the MTV awards, the band comes out with DAVE!

I was so psyched when i saw them together! I was beyond psyched. I was in HEAVEN with the thought of Dave frontin gthe band once more dancing in my head. Then they turned around and just said "well, it aint happening" and Eddie gets on TV talking smack about Dave. Saying dave was disrespectful to beck. to ****ING BECK? The man doesnt respect HIMSELF, but DLR is supposed to? what was the talk of the night? what was the first piece on MTV news? was it BECK? no, it was DLR and VH back together.

So, after feeling extremely cheated, I vowed I would never again purchase ANYTHING that Van Halen put out. NO MATTER WHAT!
