I have just bought this less then a week ago. I purchased it on saturday when I walked to the mall. I then caught a ride while walking across the road of a busy intersection. I got put it in a safe at work and then when I got home I started watching it at 11:00 or so, and ended up staying up till 6:00 in the morning.:D I knew to as well that I had a 7 hour work day as well that day. This anime series was so good. It is about Ranma Saotome, and his father Mr. Saotome. They go to China to train and to find the cursed spring of training. Well even thought their tour guide said not to. While training above the springs Ranma hits his father into one of the springs. They are exactly 1,000 springs in the area, each with a tradgic tale of someone who drowned. Who ever falls into the spring will take the body of what drowned in the spring the first time. His father falls into the spring of drowned panda. A panda drowned in that spring over 2,000 year ago. So now his father is a panda. His father was quite mad as you might expect and hits Ranma into another spring. Ranma falls into the spring of drowned girl. So he has the body of a young girl. There is one way to cure it thought. When ever he or is father is splashed with hot water they take there true form. Whenever they are splashed with cold water they turn into panda and the girl. This anime has lots of comedy, and martial arts. I would recommened this to anyone who likes a good story line. It also a great love story in it as well. Its $99.00 for the first season. and $119.00 for the second season where I live(expensive), but well worth it. Pippe if you like Cow Boy Bee Bop you will like this. It animation is older but I like it old and new. If you dont mind it being cutting egde then there is nothing bad about this series. Well there is one problem, and that's running out of it! As for me I am going to buy the second season this Friday. I would reccomend this to anyone who likes comdey, romance, action, in a good anime. Buy it, rent it, borrow it, do whatever just see this great series!!!!:D :D :D
