I think "Real People" was on ABC.. I remember that show pretty well... My whole family would sit and watch it together...
You might get in touch with the ABC network, they probably have archives of that stuff... I'm not positive that it was ABC but pretty sure)

Good luck! Let me know what you find out!

I remember sending them a "funny" picture of a road sign back in the early 80's. They didn't use it on the air, but they sent me a bumber sticker for my troubles...

I remember sending them something, too. I honestly don't remember if they used it or not, but I remember getting a gift package w/ a Tshirt and bumper sticker.
I loved that show! They should bring that show back along w/ "Thats incredible" and "Kids are People too"

Yeah , REAL PEOPLE ran on NBC from April,18 1979-July 4,1984 It featured Sarah Purcell(babe),Fred Willard(Funny Man),Byron Allen(Straight man) and Skip Stevenson(Goof) among others.I really liked the show! I too sent in a funny road sign picture. It was from Illinois after a flood. There was a sign sticking out of the water and all you could read was "County Water Control Area"! There was water all around it as far s the eye could see! They never used it though!
In Oct. of 1991 they had a 1 hour reunion show
I've been trying to get back to a website for a few months now that trades videos. It's not a personal site. It's a forum where people can post want lists ,haves, question etc. and people can trade videos of TV ,movies ,concerts..etc. I have lots of great stuff( probably even a couple of Real People episodes) but I've got to get more organized! In the mean time can anybody help me find this site? I've tried all the search engines using every possible phrasing all that ever comes up is a few personal websites!
