Oh oh , you sure know how to make someone feel guilty:) , no i didn't quit smoking yet, the reason is my girlfriend is a heavy smoker, and were going down to the cottage for the weekend, we have both decided to quit, but wanted to wait until next monday when we get back, so we won't be at each others throats all weekend.... I really do plan on quitting and taking it serious, so my start date is now July 15th... and i will report how i'm doing

Lisa, I need encouragement...some of my Wal-Mart co-workers are jerks. How do I deal with them?

I would like your advice, and it could be sharable with others as well...

Hey Cal, didn't mean to put ya on the spot there!;) You're smart to wait until it feels like the right time. It will work better for you. Just that fact that you now you want to quit is a big step!

John....hmmm, I'm not sure my advice is any good. Unfortunately there are jerks to deal with in any work environment. :rolleyes: You gotta just brush them off and keep moving on. I think this job has been a great thing for you so stick with it! Sometimes being really nice and in a good mood can make jerks so sick of you they just back off!:lol: It's worked for me!:p Hang in there!

Good luck Cal, I hope you do it. I have seen (not to mention smelled) first hand what smoking can do to a person and the people around them. Today is the first day of the rest of your life, don't give up!
