Does anybody remember when the networks(espeically, perhaps only abc) use to run half hour or hour speicals on the new cartoon season the night before they aired. They were sometimes entertainng to watch,i always took them as a sign that a new tv season and fall was on the way.

Oh, Yeah! I used to love those things. I always settled in with a big bowl of popcorn to check them out.

I remember those prime-time sneak-peek of the cartoons, too, Bear! I remember looking forward to finding out what great cartoons the network had in store for us!!!

Oh yeah! Saturday Morning Previews!! :D I used to watch that every year back then :) Do they still do that? or is it yet another thing of the past?

I used to be glued to the tube on Preview night!!! Couldn't wait for all the new cartoons....then was disappointed that some of them weren't coming back!

I haven't seen them in years. Probably just another happy memory that has faded into obscurity. :(

I loved them. If I had a copy of the 1986-87 CBS preview show, I would be a very happy cartoon freak. ;)

They kept them around until the mid-90s on ABC, if I remember correctly.
