Well to add to the great day I had yesterday at the concert. You can read about it in this thread:

We had been looking at this new apartment to move into and we were waiting to be approved. Today we found out that we are approved and will be able to move in on August 1st! :) You don't know how much this means to Bryan and I. The place we currently live in is really bad. It has flooded in here, things have broke (remember the ceiling fan I told you about?), people are plain rude with loud music and stuff. Our new place will be luxury compared to this place.

It is a nice, quiet complex. It even has a gym, so I will be more motivated to start exercising. ;) It has a few other perks too, but that is not important. I am just happy and wanted to share it with all of you. It is a good way to top off what had been a very bad last few weeks.

That's Great Stacy. I know you have been unhappy about living at that place from mentioning before. A gym at the complex? Wow, that's cool! I wish there was one at my apartment complex.

I know what you mean first hand by living in a hell hole. In early 96 I moved into the ultimate $hitty apartment out in Keizer (jazzy will know what I mean). Nothing but problems. They were a dump, cops were over there all the time, just a rat infested hell hole is all it was. I moved out 2 1/2 years later after I got robbed.

I thought I'd use a treadmill and a stepper if I had them...:lol: I go out on walks and bike rides instead. Hopefully you have more determination than I do! ;)

Yes, they accept cats. I would never take an apartment that would not accept my babies. :)

I know the gym (or I guess a better name for it is a workout room) has a stepper, exercise bike, treadmill, and one of those things with weights that you can pump with your arms and legs. Maybe I will finally be able to lose some of this weight.

I understand all too well the joys of "moving on up" :) I lived in the ghetto for a bit over 22 years (a good sized portion of my life :lol: ) in half decent apartments with minor roach infestations, noisy neighbors with high powered sterios above and next door pumping Spanish and rap music, the works...and I don't miss it one damn bit :lol:

Anywho, congrats on your upcoming move! Enjoy the peace and serenity and good luck with the weight loss mission! ;)

Congrats! I know how you must feel. I've been fantasizing about my own place for a while and how I'd do the intieriror decorating.

But as for loud neighbours... that's one of my fears.
