Hi all...hope everyone is enjoying their holiday. Almost time for the crew to start rolling in. Been cleaning getting things prepared most of the morning for our annual cookout. Not too bad out..a little warm but nice breeze blowing. Gonna be a perfect 4th of July party!

Well, I am now having a great holiday because I am done working for the day. But, I still have some things to take care of around the house.

Hopefully, everyone else will have a better holiday than what I will be having.

Had a beautiful, fantastic Independence Day. Had a wonderful gathering with family and friends at my mother's beach house. Ate lots of yummy summer dishes. The weather was hot and perfect with a wonderful sea breeze blowing from the ocean. Went to the firework's display at Patriot's Point and then went strolling around the Battery and Haymarket Square in Dowtown Charleston. What a perfect day! :)

Had a pretty good day. Just relaxed and enjoyed the fact that didn't rain afterall!! :lol: Watched the fireworks on tv tonight. Wasn't up to the large crowds to go see them in person.

Fun day! We thought we would see 3 fireworks shows from where we live but actually got in 5. Very pretty seeing the frieworks over the city lights. Nice evening too. Much cooler than we expected.

We had a wonderful day.. my family actually got along :p
The last time we all got together I ended up in the hospital.
We all acted civilized.
We grilled out at the park and took some pictures and played with the kids. Then we went to the tallest mountain in Pikeville and watched the fireworks :rolleyes: they were not what we expected but the kids loved them. All in all we had a great time.

So glad that everyone had a safe and enjoyable holiday. :)

That was the longest BBQ, firework watching, all around party I've been involved in. I just woke up from a 48 hour recuperation nap. Whew!!! I must be getting old, these long weekends really take their toll on me.

That's what happens when you start getting OLD Tubbs! LOL!
