What goes into a really good omlette? Cheese? Mushrooms? Peppers?

The cheese is a must, personally I like meats in my omlette, bacon, ham, sausage.. and a few vegetables. like mushrooms, green peppers, and onions. I'm not a fan of tomatoes in my my omlette

I don't put all the above in an omlette, i mix and match, but Cheese is a definate for me

This is what I like in a omelette: Eggs, bell peppers, onion, mushrooms, bacon or ham, and cheddar cheese.

Mushrooms, diced purple onion, diced red bell pepper, fresh dill, pepper and a dash of milk. Whip and pour into hot skillet. Once omlete has been flipped sprinkle texmex cheddar mix (those shredded packages) cover with a lid and finish cooking. MMMMMMM

Hey I didn't eat yet today lol....

I love a good omelette. I make one that I use three different cheeses in. Nice and fluffy. :biglick:

Crispy bacon and cheese. I can't stand sausage, peppers or onions in my omelett. Plus, I have to get them white thingies out of the whites of the eggs before I cook them. :yucky:

I wish I could make a bloody omelette! Every time I try it ends up looking like a heap of hot-slop, a kind of ruined scrambled-egg...

I think you can eat the white thingies, I pick the very small black
pieces out of it!

What kind of chickens do they have in Germany?

The free chicks I see here look 100% the same.
Do you know what thingies you pick out of the egg?
I think the white parts look more like egg than the black parts
do.:)
I have no idea what the small black parts are. But I think this is not a regulary part of an egg.

I`m the eggman!!!:D

Cheese (Colby/Jack), sauteed garlic, onion, and mushrooms, ham, bacon, and salsa, topped with avocado.

That sounds amazing Greenway. Sauteed garlic - haven't done that yet...

Chopper - you need a cast iron pan - just a small one, season it. put some oil on the bottom heat at medium heat - about 5 minutes or less) Pour your egg mixture in and let it puff right up. It should be firm enough to flip :)
