WOW! Rhino just released a new greatest hits for her and it is fantastic. It is great music to play while romancing your honey (ask me how I know). I just love her voice. She sings with a jazz style not unlike Ella and Billie. One of my favorites by her is "Just because". There is a line in that song that says "This commitment that we share is a welcome sacrafice". I LOVE THAT LINE!! Who else likes the fine music by this true diva?

Yep, Anita Baker has a wonderful jazzy style like the greats. My favorites are Sweet Love, Rapture, and Same Old Love (365 Days).

Sweet love is one of the most soulful tunes of the 80's. I also love "Giving You the Best That I Got". great song from a great singer!

I LOVE HER VOICE!! Anita's "Rapture" album has long been played as my favorite "make out" album. She could sing the phone book and I would buy it. :yesnod:Thanks:thumb:

Anita's awesome.
The "Rapture" album is fantastic. There isn't a bad cut on it.
I agree with you about "Just Because" Daf. Very awesome song, very powerful lyrics.
