This isn't totally complete yet, but I've been cracking away at this all night...and still going  Now that I pretty much got ownership access of the Xchange :ego::lol:, I made my own forum style.

It's made with my own preferences in mind...I wanted something darker than the default light blue, but dark blue wasn't my cup of tea, so I cooked this up.

If anyone actually likes it, feel free to use it ;) It's not totally finished, but it's lookin good so far, I think

WOW! I like it for the most part :D everything looks Great ... Except the light blue in it is a bit bright on my Screen :( and some of the Text disappears  otherwise I think it's AWESOME!:thumb:It looks good so far ;) I hope you finish it soon :) I'll use it if you do :p

Thanks :) Yeah, the light blue gradient on the title bars I'll probably darken a little. As for text disappearing...the only thing I could think of causing that would be if someone's using a font color that's similar to the background colors of this style set. That's the only drawback to having different style sets....font color customization can kinda muck things up.

Ah well...I may think of something another time. I'm done with it for tonight...at least I'm finally through using the default :p

Roem, I love it! I have already changed over to that style. It is not too bright and not too dark. :)

That's what I was aiming for :) The light blue was always a bit too bright and dark blue is waaaaaaaaaay too dark, so here's the friendly medium :D

Wow! I like it! I'm going to stick with this for awhile.. I've always wanted to work the gradients in there! I love the logo, too! But, I wonder about one thing. The text looks a bit choppy. Did you use Photoshop to create that logo? If so, you can smooth out the edges of that text - antialias.. Ya know? Unless you want it that way. Either way is nice. That's a cool looking logo!

Thanks Roem!

Hmmmm. Don't know. A little dark for my liking, but I will keep it on for a bit and see if I get used to it. :)

I changed the name of the style to something a little less egotistical  Roem Style is now 'Electric Blue' :)

I also noticed you added the style that everyone is using. That is a neat feature as well. My curiosity has always been up to who is using what.

I like it! It seems that these colors will be easier on the eyes but I'll have to try it out for awhile and see how it goes. I've already switched over to electric blue. Thanks Roem, nice job.

Yeah, me too :) And after making my first style, I was curious to see who was using it  As I mentioned in my other announcement, you can also click on the style set of a user to instantly change yours to what they're using. I don't think it's a permanent change though....would still have to change in user cp for that, but it's good if you wanna quickly check out all the styles in a given session

On another note, glad people are getting use of my style! and now I know who you are  Thanks for the comments!

I like it a lot Roemy! I never liked the dk blue. It was way too dark for me. This is more fun than the lt. blue too. I tried them all today and this is by far my fav! Everything shows up better than on the lighter backgrounds. Good job.

Roem I really like this. For the most part its easier on the eyes but I am finding the Title bars a little bright... could be the tired eyes though. ::coffee: lol I'm going to try this out for a few days :)

I switch around, if I'm here during the day, like Im now... I use your style Roemy, but after midnight... I have to go back to my dark blue, its easier on the eyes at 3am

I'm too used to the default light blue.. I tried the electric blue for a day but it's too dark for me.. I feel like I am straining to read over the dark... I'll just stick with the good ol' standby default ;)

That's the good thing about this vbulletin system...we can make styles to suit everyone :) Some like bright, some like dark, some like it in the middle...we got it all now :D

My eyes seem to only be able to tolerate the default blue, for some reason. I find it hard to read when my cp is set to the other color settings. :)
