"There was a song, final '80s. A male voice, like Tony Hadley or Martin Fry The beginning: Strings and harmonica The chorus went: "I'm not at home to heartache, let me gooooooo, please! I'm not at home to heartache, let me be" At the final: "I turn the pages as fast as I can, I can't recall a voice (or boy, or...)" It's not "Let Me Go" by Heaven 17"

Perfect Alibi, "Not at Home to Heartache". It's a 12" ; BMG Records (UK), 1987. You can buy it (second hand) in www.recordfinders.co.uk or in www.popsych.co.uk
Do you need more information? :D

Thanx, Guancho.:)
I already have the music........but I'm just curious about this band.....I can't get any pic or bio or something.........it's seems they never existed but for that song
It's weird, but I always need to connect a voice with a face...(This could be a surprise, this time:alien: )
Your info makes me suppose that perhaps they are from Uk.
Thanx a lot!

:uhoh: Maybe I misunderstood what you needed... I don't have any information about this band, except that they are SURE from UK... as far as I know, the only song they released was "Not at Home to Heartache", and only in a 12" version. The company was RCA / BMG, but I don't have more details. Maybe any british member can help you better...
