I didn't have time this week to think of a good topic, so we will go with another movie topic. This voting session deals with what you think is the best horror movie of 1981. Six choices plus an option of a "write-in" vote. If you decide to use that option, please state the movie you are voting for and write "other" next to it. This voting session lasts two weeks as always and will end on 7/6/02. Have fun! :)

I also voted for An American Werewolf in London. It's really a classic movie with great performances and special effects. :thumb:

This was pretty state of the art at the time. Excellent special effects and great make up. I didn't see this until the late 80s when I got myself a video recorder, but it was certainly more memorable than the others on the list.

I had to think about this for awhile. I really liked "The Entity" and I have always been a fan of the first two "Halloween" movies. I voted for "An American Werewolf In London" though. The scene where the man turns into a werewolf has always been a great special effects scene to me. It is still amazing looking even today.

I went for Friday 13th-2...haven't seen An American Werewolf In London yet. Sad aren't I??
Scanners was the most boring movie ever made, well one of them. I didn't even continue watching after 30 minutes it was that boring, and same goes for the second one, even worse....

Looks like I'm the only one who didn't like "American Werewolf In London" I bought it used before without seeing it first and I ended up trading it in.I also bought "Scanners" without seeing it first and I liked this movie less than "American Werewolf In London",it was boring.I don't remember to much of the "Entity" but I do remember that I liked it.I voted for Friday the 13th part 2 with Halloween 2 a close second.

Without a doubt, An American Werewolf in London. CLASSIC!
Pity the sequel didn't live up to it.
