Anyone remember these two action shows with helicopters as the theme? The movie "Blue Thunder" was a minor hit in the theatres, so these shows sprang to life. Airwolf was pretty good, and ran for 3 or 4 seasons, but the "Blue Thunder" series quickly faded.
Airwolf did tend to stretch the bounds of physics on an occasion or two, and it's weapons capabilities weren't quite accurate, but that's when Jan-Michael Vincent was actually coherent enough to act.

Airwolf was airing (http://www.80sxchange.com/ubb/smilies//rolleyes.gif ) her in sweden a couple of years ago, but didn't watch it that much.
Speaking of helicopters...I remember a film starring Larry Hagman (yes,J.R.) as a heli pilot! In one scene he landed on a 18 wheeler going down a highway! Sooo cool!http://www.80sxchange.com/ubb/smilies//biggrin.gif Don't recall the name of it though... anyone???

I remember watching Airwolf. Was a decent show. Never watched that movie though.

I've seen both, the "Airwolf" series, and I have "Blue Thunder" on DVD.
