What an exciting game. I'm delighted the co-favourites are out now. Makes for a more open tournament. Looks like Denmark face Engerland. Now that will be a good game!

Harket 6-12-02, 04:40 AM The Nordic teams are proving to be quite the favourite killers this time ;) Although the Argentinians had the ball 70% of the time, and laid down some very heavy pressure, you just have to give it to the Swedes. They stood well on their positions and the Argentinians were mostly teethless in front of goal. Actually the Swedes should have won 1-0, as it was a clear foul when the Argentinian attackers ran into the field before the penalty was taken. Bad refereeing there - no one (linesman or ref) had their eyes on the Argentinian players outside the box. I'm really looking forward to the game saturday. I honestly believe, that Denmark can beat the English, who haven't been too sharp in this tournament. If Denmark win, it's gonna be one great Saturday for me, as I'm going to an A-ha concert later that evening. Couldn't be more perfect :D space-invader 6-12-02, 07:38 AM Originally posted by Harket Actually the Swedes should have won 1-0, as it was a clear foul when the Argentinian attackers ran into the field before the penalty was taken. Wonder if some bookies are getting a li'l nervous :D I didn't get to see the entire match (work) but what I saw was wxactly what have been said before .... Argentinian pressure (diversed and fast), but against a well disciplined swedish team, that wasn't enoug. I also think we stand a good chance against England, after all I think this danish team hasn't shown everything yet, and England seem to have a slight scoring problem :p |
