Hi! I thought everybody (especially any Crue fans here) might like to know that I got an e-mail from VH1 last week, they wanted some of my Motley Crue videos for a special they are doing on the Crue! I sent the videos to them right away and they e-mailed me today to let me know that they have received them. They also stated in the e-mail that as of right now the special is set to air on Tuesday, July 23 @ 9 pm!!!
I don't have any other details on what the special is exactly or anything. I only know what they told me and that is that they are working on a special about Motley Crue! If I get any other info on it, I will post it. Anyway, just a heads up in case you want to get your VCR's ready!

Why did VH1 contact you about Motley Crue videos?

I think I might know what the special is that they are working on. I had seen a commercial about some upcoming new shows coming to VH-1. They are supposed to do an episode of the show "Driven" (I think that is what it is called) about Motley Crue.

As far as a Motley Crue tour, I haven't heard anything. I do know that Vince Neil will be here in Austin on the 4th of July performing with Skid Row, Jackyl, Tesla for the Freedomfest Concert.

Vince Neil was supposed to be here on May 1st, and then that got cancelled.
Rumour from the radio station is that they were to get back together and go on tour (Vince and Tommy)...

Well, I wish I could go to Austin for that concert on July 4. There are other reasons that I would like to go to Austin and I think some of you could figure out why.

I know why rgritti! ;) It has to do with a certain movie, right? :) Well, if you ever come down here I will give you the tour.

Sadly, there won't be any Crue activity until at least next year... maybe. Nikki has stated that he'd like to do one last tour with the original line up, but Tommy has denounced that in different interviews. Tommy says he's too happy doing his solo thing and that going back to Crue would be a step down. Grrr. I never did like that guy.

Anyhow, the Driven special on Crue is set to air in July and ofcourse, I'll be taping it. :cool:

You didn't think I'd let a Crue post go by and not have something to say, did you? :D

Tommy needs to realize where he belongs and that is being the drummer for Motley Crue. I would not mind seeing them tour one last time as long as they are all together.

And yes, it does have to do with a certain movie.

I collect rare videos and I have a website for it, so I guess they found it and asked if I would help them out.

Yes I believe you're right, I hadn't seen the commercial for that when I 1st posted about this but I did see it recently. It looks like it should be cool!
