Hopefully we can get the 2 goals needed to take us through but we havent been scoring well lately. I'm getting a bit nervous!

Cheer up Prefab, you only need one goal to go thru', as long as Germany & Cameroun don't draw ... Besides gettin' 2 goals against an inexperienced Saudi team shouldn't proove too difficult, Cameroun knows this too, and will do anything to win, thus leaving the road to the knock-outs open for you irish lads ... Go Ireland :thumb:

I think the Irish will make it through. I am going to wear my brand new Irish jersey that I received in the mail today. I might even post a picture, just to make Prefab happy. :) :)

Ireland will probably get in, but they need to start playing some decent ball. I think they have been one of the biggest disappointments of the World Cup so far.

Very True Flix. Its annoying watching your team knowing that they can play much better football!

hehe i was one goal off...
let's see if the irish can sneak past spain....penalties anyone?

anybody see the senegal-uruguay match? if you haven't seen it as yet, try and watch it....it's an unbelieveable match...even better than the usa-portugal match!!
uruguay in the second half played like how they did against australia in the second leg of their playoff...why they don't play like that all the time is a real mystery

as for germany-cameroon, well...germany looked shaky until they had a man sent off....after that they looked much better
kaiserslauten's super striker was at it again!
maybe they should change the top scorer award from golden boot award to golden head award
