View Full Version : Fraggle Rock
LadyhawkeB 5-29-00, 03:16 AM I know you guys liked Fraggle Rock. http://www.80sxchange.com/ubb/smile.gif Next to The Wonder Years it was my favorite show on TV. My favorite character was always Boober (I hope his name doesn't get starred out or anything.) because I thought he had a funny name. I didn't even realize the word that was in it. http://www.80sxchange.com/ubb/smile.gif When I grow up I want to have a dog named Sprocket. Do any of you have any Fraggle Rock links? I have had the hardest time finding any, but here's one... http://www.punchandjewelry.com/legacy/html/frindex.htm
Nikki_91 5-29-00, 06:32 PM I used to love Fraggle Rock..that was a good show. I just recently rented some Fraggle Rock videos for my 2 year old niece. Surpisingly, I still remember the theme song to that show. Remember the Doziers, they were cool little workers.

"Down at Fraggle Rock <clap clap>, Down at Fragle Rock, <clap clap>" he he http://www.80sxchange.com/ubb/biggrin.gif I loved them. Gobo, Wembley, Red, Mokey, Boober, Sprocket & Doc, and the Gorgs. I liked Uncle Matt and his travelling adventures! http://www.80sxchange.com/ubb/smile.gif I think I like Wembley best. I found a site that lists everything Fraggle, all the characters, not just major, books, albums, and whatever else: http://vr.ncsa.uiuc.edu/BS/Muppets/fraggle_list.html I hope that's right!
I wouldn't mind seeing it again! http://www.80sxchange.com/ubb/biggrin.gif

Hey Y'all,
LadyMysTrix and I are wondering about the Gorgs on the "Fraggle Rock", does anyone remember the individual names of the Gorgs?
Love Fraggle Rock :)
This site has a Shockwave "Rock Box" where you can play most of the music: http://www.geocities.com/EnchantedForest/Cottage/8264/
Have to go back to work!
Thanks for posting that link MaryC! :) Does anyone know the name of the Gorgs? LadyMysTrix and I are still curious to know, thanks. :)
Trix, I think the Gorgs' names are just Ma, Pa, and Junior. :)
I wouldn't mind seeing it again! [img]
If you would be able to watch Dutch television you might see some old episodes every now and then! :yesnod:
galaga-girl 2-02-04, 04:24 PM I have two Fraggle Rock videos that i bought from Woolworths about 5 years ago for $12 each. When i saw them i snapped them up fast!!
Fraggle Rock was one of my all time Fav shows as a kid, and i still love it now. I have the video theme song on a VCD, i can transfer it to mpeg or rm file and email it if anyone wants it :)
I used to love the trolls, when the Fraggles would try to steal their turnips, that was the best part of the show. And the Doozers were so cute!
80sTrivia 2-02-04, 05:43 PM I loved Fraggle Rock, too! They used to show it on the Odyssey Cable Network, before it became the Hallmark Channel. Haven't seen it since... :(
Rhelawen 2-02-04, 10:17 PM I loved Fraggle Rock! Red and Wembley were my favorite Fraggles. :D
I haven't seen that show since I was a kid, though. :(
Yeup, the Gorgs names were ma, pa, and Junior...hehe, and I also want to name my dog Sprocket when I get one in the future! Here's a great site where you can get some audio as well :

I think all the Fraggle Rock characters were created by a Mississippian: Jim Henson.
I remember watching at least one Fraggle Rock episode in the early '80s--on HBO, at my aunt's house. (I didn't have HBO until July, 1988.)

That's awesome, galaga-girl! :thumb: You're right, it certainly does bring back memories! :D
Gosh I used to love watching Fraggle Rock! Red was always my fav! It's been so long since I've seen them. I wish some network would come out and show just 80's cartoons 24 hours a day. That would be so awesome!!! I really don't think they would have to worry about ratings at all, just from all of us here at the boards, their ratings would go up!! :thumb:
galaga-girl 2-05-04, 09:28 PM The link i posted above will no longer work to download the Video Intro to Fraggle Rock, my friend had to take it down as it was sucking up all his bandwith! You can download heaps more Video Intro's at his website at www.sfxb.co.uk
