Aerosmith announced it's newest tour. This time they'll be on the road with Kid Rock and Run DMC. Sweet Goddess....they're soooo done. :rolleyes:

Anyone who choose to play with Kid Rock is an assclown. I actually like Aerosmith, but no way I'm gonna go see them with that guy.

Am I the only one who thinks this has potential? At least they aren't touring with Britney and *Nsync. I would love to see Run-DMC. My question is, are they gonna do a whole show just playing "Walk this way"? :lol:

I would not pay for a show that made Kid Rock any money. That is too bad. A lot of Aerosmith fans will be disappointed.

They are free, I understand Run DMC, but Kid Rock... I'll a point to be entertained while he's on stage. A lot of weird get togethers this summer.

Sicking isn't it! Aerosmith is looking to stay in the limelight at whatever cost.
Then, today this news was on CDnow's Allstar news:

Nikki Sixx, who wrote most of the Motley Crue stuff, told us that he has written a song, "Let's Get It Together," for possible inclusion on the next Backstreet Boys album, as well as songs for Tantric, Saliva, and Faith Hill.


Well, at least he gets paid for the songs he writes!

Could this be a sign of decline? Do you think they will be playing in back water bars in a few years for a $5. cover charge - it could happen.

Anything is possible.... it might do them some good. Bring 'em back to their roots.

I'm with DJ there, at least to a certain degree - maybe some kids will leave after they had seen Kid Rock, but some will surely stay to watch the whole package and probably leave the hall with thinking "Boy...never thought that Run DMC and Aerosmith were that cool".

And, with all due respect...Aerosmith and Run DMC are not the hot sellers they used to be anymore. Maybe this will be a fresh infusion for them, breaking new grounds among the "nu-metal kids".

But what does an old synthpopper know? :lol:
