Which of these artists do you think had the wildest look and/or coolest makeup? I went with KISS.

I would have to agree with you about KISS. Their makeup was great, especially the makeup for Gene Simmons.

I gotta go with KISS for the whole visual package.

I voted for Ozzy,I never thought Kiss's makeup was cool.

I think KISS has the competition beat...They were trailblazers in the full makeup and theatrical outfits, at least in my humble opinion! :)

I liked KISS' makeup because you couldn't tell what the guys really looked like. It was a great gimmick!

I went with Other,in the world of make-up metal no one comes close to the King......King Diamond that is.

I've got to go with KISS for this one, with Motley a close second. But really, I don't think anyone could have topped KISS for most outrageous look or makeup! :gene:

Plus.... didn't King Diamond admit in an interview somewhere that he got inspired by KISS when so called "created" his character? I could be wrong. He did get sued by Gene Simmons.. wether he won or not, I don't remember.... who cares right? :lol:

Another vote for KISS! Dee Snider of Twisted Sister said (in his make-up) he looked like Bette Midler on heroin! TS was cool:) Also a big fan of Alice Cooper, I prefer his more recent makeup rather than the early makeup that kinda looked like he had black daisies around his eyes:lol:

It never reached a full-out court case, but King Diamond did indeed have to alter his makeup design to avoid one.

Duh! Gotta go with KISS :gene: considering I have worn the origional 4 plus Vinnie's makeup..... for EVERY concert.. and many Halloweens... I'm getting pretty damn good at doing Ace's makeup ;)

I have to go with Alice. He was the first to wear the makeup. Even Gene Simmons said that the idea for Kiss was "ti have four Alice Cooper's." People don't realize that Kiss was the first Alice ripoff. Alice is the true original.

I went with Kiss, they had the coolest make-up (especially Peter Criss). If I were voting on best costumes then Gwar would have won.

I gotta go with my boy, Alice. He is probably one of the best showmen who ever lived, and every detail of his onstage persona was and is carefully worked out, and in my opinion, nobody does it better.
