I had my first professional massage done today. I highly recommend it. :) Felt 10 times better when I left there. Anyone else had one done before???

Not professionally. I should try it out. :)

I have had several. The last one I had was back in November, I was on a cruise, and it lasted an hour. It was SO good, I was drooling on the table, I swear! The wonderful, relaxed feeling lasted for days (well, until I went back to work, anyway, LOL).

I go once a month. It is the best way to spoil yourself. I am so relaxed after a good massage. I can recommend it, especially for people in stressful or physically demanding jobs.

I used to get professional massages about three times a week because of some herniated discs in my back.

I have had professional massages and they are fantastic. I have a physically demanding job which causes a lot of physical problems and the therapist was able to help me with that. She also recommended exercises, stretches, and other advice for my physical problems.

There was a time when I was under emotional stress and I suffered from insomnia as a result. I thought I was functioning well considering I wasn't getting any sleep and I thought I looked good, I certainly didn't look like I was stressed. The stress and anxiety was actually making me feel hyper and tense and I think I was getting my energy to go on with all of my bundled up anxiety. Usually going to the gym helps me but this time exercise didn't seem to help as much this time. Finally I went to see the massage therapist and I had the strangest experience there. That massage totally relaxed me and I was able to let go of all the anxiety I had been carrying inside. After the massage was done I tried to get up but it was very difficult. I was consumed by exhaustion. My eyes were so heavy I could hardly open them. My eyelids were actually swollen!! The massage therapist knocked on the door to see if I was okay because I was taking longer than usual. I said I would be out soon and then I spotted myself in the mirror. I looked horrible!! It was so strange because I looked bright eyed and bushy tailed when I walked in. The message therapist noticed a difference in me to when I finally walked out. When I got home I was finally able to fall asleep! Thanks to the massage all of the stress, worry and anxiety that I was carrying inside was released and I felt so much better. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND a massage to relieve stress. It won't solve your problem, but it will make you feel so much better afterwards and cure your insomnia. Eventually my problem was worked out but after the massage I was able to handle my stress better and I didn't get worked up into a frenzied bundle of nerves again!

A professional massage? No..I haven't, but my husband gives the best massages. He warms a little bit of scented oil and rubs it all over me. *WHEW~~ I love that man!* :)

I used to get them when I played football. They really helped on sore muscles. I had one a couple of months ago because I was forced. ;)

I doubt I will go again anytime soon though. I hope you enjoy, Jazzy. :)

*cough* I beg to differ......

Anyway - I love massages and go as often as I can - I also have a friend who gives great massages (she loves torturing me) so I'm quite privileged.... :D

I don't think I could handle someone touching my body like that. I am very insecure when it comes to my body. If they can do it with all your clothes on then I would do it.

Rubbish Milani - don't even think about it! Besides - you can get a woman to do it or a man - which ever you feel more comfortable with. It's their job! And they see all sorts of body shapes and sizes....nothing to worry about....try iy - I'm sure you'd enjoy it! :)
