I don't know if I'll give enough info here, but I'll tell you guys my problem, and hopefully someone can help, 'cause I'm a computer idiot.
My PC (an HP) came with a built-in fax program that uses my modem to send faxes. I am running Windows 98.
Just the other day, my fax stopped faxing. It converts the files from .doc or .wps to .fax documents, and then stops running- the modem never attempts to dial out. I them have to close the program manually.
I can't reinstall the program, as it is part of my package, and my recovery CD is of course defective. Does anyone know if perhaps the parameters need to be adjusted, or if there is a way for me to find out what sort of driver it uses and download it, or anything? I could sure use some help here. Thanks!!
