So, what did everyone do last weekend? Most of us here in the States celebrated Memorial Day... it's always nice having an extra day off... and also to pay tribute to our "Fallen Hero's" :)

I voted for drank alone. I did a lot of that last night.

Nothing is better than Vodka and Kool-aid at three in the morning.

I would have to say that I did nothing this weekend. I spent most of the weekend doing alot of soul searching because not working for over a month has taken its toll on me. I mean, I do not think that my parents should have to support me because they have already done enough for me in my life. I am also tired of just feeling out of it. It is difficult to keep telling your parents that you feel fine when you are not. I do not know, maybe this feeling will go away, maybe it will not. This just sucks!

I voted for other, but I did all of the above. I worked on Sat. then spent time w/ family cause I couldn't get home until they caught the murderer in our neighborhood. Sunday night I watched a DVD, we bought (Mullholland Drive) and partied w/ my hubby. We also did the BBQ thing. Monday my hubby and I went shopping, worked our butts off in the yard and watched another DVD. Fun weekend!!!:D

I did some housework this weekend. Making plans on what to do this week. Need to go out and look for a job. Plus I've had a stress headache for the past 4 days. That takes alot out of a person. Will be going to see my doctor this week before my insurance runs out on me.

I spent time with my in-laws. Guess I'm lucky, most people have in-laws from hell, mine treat me better than my own family does.

I did absolutely nothing. I just watched some TV, played around on the computer, called my mom, and that was about it.

I spent it with family... I was the butt of their jokes  since I turned 31 :(
I also had them over for a barbque and they partied all night! I picked a great time to stop drinking

I went to the beach on Saturday. Went to a movie on Sunday (saw Star Wars, finally.) And yesterday, went to my mother's house for our annual Memorial Day BBQ and badmitton tournament.

50% "absolutelly nothing", 50% "spent it with my family". My new family (I mean my son) spents most part of my time. And in the weekends I use my few spare time to do DIY jobs or just to take a rest.

Saturday I was a couchpotato due to Friday. :barf:

Let's see.. I worked Friday, Saturday, Sunday, AND Monday.. (getting ready to go to work as we speak, (Tuesday) (oh and I worked last Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday leading up to Memorial Day Weekend  That makes 8 in a row for me... I'm exhausted... I just have to make it through today.. and then I'll party!!! 2 days off! yay!
Seriously, my job is open every day except Christmas Day and Easter... so that doesn't leave alot of time out for the family :(

I did grill some steaks last night, though, when I got off of work ;)

Ok how am I going to vote for three things? I spent it with friends, partied AND B-B-Q'ed all weekend. I'm all partied out :goofy:

I couldn't pick just one, as I drank a little , had a few beers, partied with my friends, but I also worked over the weekend, and watch Mulholland Drive- which by the way I didn't like, especially the ending

Let's see .... Was forced to go shopping with my gf and mother-in-law (only fun in that is pretending to sneaking bras under my jersey, when I was sure the store detective was looking :D ), gave the computer a good cleaning and put in a ethernet card, played FOOTBALL (we won 4-0 :p ), went to see SW ep. 2, celebrated my gf's birthday with her family & ended the whole week-end falling asleep to Vampires (starring James Woods) .... Does that answer your question Taz ?? ;) :D

BTW I voted other, in case you were in doubt...

Well, I did mostly nothing... still doing nothing since I have today off as well. :) Though I did grill a few kabobs, drank a few margaritas and braved the sea of tourists at the beach for few hours... though I did it all alone. Ahhh.... Virginia Beach <insert sarchasim here>

So, if you had a radio button with the choice of "mostly nothing, but BBQd and drank alone" I would have selected it.

I voted "other" because it was a little bit of everything.
Saturday night went to a picnic at a park with my extended family and some friends. Not much Saturday.
Then Monday was my husband's birthday. He spent his one day off for 3 weeks tearing apart the house. He tore down a stupid decorative beam off the ceiling in the family room (ending up with three new holes in the ceiling  ), then installed a ceiling fan. Later we went out and bought a grill and BBQ'ed dinner. After the kids were asleep we installed a new light in our eating area. What a fun way to celebrate 'huh?:wacky:

I can not believe how busy all of you was. I know I was boring this weekend, but I had no idea that I was that boring.

I am coming to Virginia Beach, Darkmatter. Then we can drink margaritas and do nothing together. ;) :)

Congratulations on your win, Smurf. I did not know they allowed Smurfs on the pitches in Denmark.

You'd be surprised what they let onto the pitch these days .... Next time I score, I'm pulling my pants down and doing the helicopter, just to see what the ref will say

Well let's see... this weekend I installed new aluminum siding, put down new bark dust, rebuilt the engine in my truck, tutored 3 kids in 4 different subjects, ran a blood drive, adding a new room on to a house, took flight lessons, redesigned the cooling system at a hotel for better air flow, did some highway repairs, went scuba diving, learned how to repair diesel engines, drew blueprints for a 3 story house, built an entire living room set out of wood from scratch, repainted a few cars, had a bbq for 30 guests, taught a blind kid braille, learned 2 foreign languages, and entered a fine art contest.

...and I still had time to watch some movies!

:D

On saturday I went shopping to get some shorts for summer and on the way home I stopped at Blockbuster and rented Black Knight(I liked it) and From Hell(I didn't like it)and that's about it.
