Roy Keane has announced this evening on Irish TV that he wants to play in te world cup. He says that the ball is not in his court but that he would love to play for his country. No apology given though!

I seriously doubt he will play. He should sit down and shut up so his teammates can concentrate on the World Cup. He is making himself look like a fool in my opinion. I hope Ireland does great without him. :) :)

If Roy Keane wants to play for his Country I suggest that he takes three simple steps:

* Stops throwing his toys out of his pram
* Learns to respect authority and apologises to his Manager
* Understands the fact that even he is not bigger than the game itself

In some ways I blame Manchester Utd PLC for offering fertile ground for breeding arrogant bigots like him, and then leading them into thinking that they are bigger than the game and club itself.

I'm not a Man Utd hater or anything, I love watching the football they play as a team, but I think that this just episode just epitomises everything that is wrong with the English game.
