I didn't get to do my normal research because I was busy this week, so we will just do another year in the comedy genre. Our category is the Best Comedy Of 1988. My vote for best movie is "Young Einstein". I just love that movie!

Voted for "A fish called Wanda" - the Monty guy's crack me up everytime. Beetlejuice must be a close second.

Another vote for A Fish Called Wanda here. John Cleese, Michael Palin, Kevin Kline, Jamie Lee Curtis; great cast, great movie!!!

I voted for Rain Man. I love Tom Cruise and Dustin Hoffman. This is a movie I could watch again and again.

BEETLEJUICE BEETLEJUICE BEETLEJUICE! I loved that movie then and my kids watch it with me now.


I do agree with Pippi that RAIN MAN was an excellent film too. I own a copy that I need to watch again one of these days.

I voted for Rain Man, but I wouldn't consider it a comedy, but it was one hell of a movie and gets my vote

I didnt know Rain Man was a comedy, I thought it was a drama. but anyway I voted for the coreys, License to Drive.

I'm a Python fan too and Cleese and Palin are my two favourites. They are great. Wanda was a classic comedy, one I'd watch many times.

No question about it. This is one of my all time favorite movies. I can't even begin to count the number of times I've seen it and it never fails to crack me up.:lol: :laugh: :lol: I could probably quote the entire movie if the need arose.:D

I voted for "Beetlejuice", though "A Fish Called Wanda" came in a close second, I just think the chemistry and laughs were more abundant in "Beetlejuice". :)

I had to vote for License to drive. Not because i really thought it is better than the other movies, but on sentimental reasons. I had a big crush on Corey Haim!

I also loved Roger Rabit and Beetlejuice!
