I'm not sure if all of these were on in the 80s, but I think most of them were. My childhood kinda blends together.

But, there was this one show that I liked that I can't remember the name of. Maybe someone can help me. It was about a family that lived in a treehouse in the forest and they had dinosaurs for pets. There was a dad and tow kids, a son and a daughter. If anyone knows what I'm talking about, please let me know! Thanx!

Anyways, kiddos, this show was actually first shown in the 70's. From September 1974 to September 1977. Then they repeated and showed reruns in the mid 80's.

I was totally addicted to the show. It had dinosaurs, and Sleestaks.(cave-dwelling, nocturnal creatures.) Then, their was Cha-ka...Holly's little friend...Dopey, a baby Dinosaur. And Enik, the talking sleestak elder who showed Ranger Rick(the uncle) how to use the crystals. Their were also the "mean" dinosaurs...Big Alice and Grumpy.

I wonder if they'll ever show repeats of the show? I know that you can buy tapes off of Amazon.com. I've yet to do that.

This show was a brain child of Sid and Marty Krofft, who gave us great shows like H.R. Pufnstuff, Sigmund and the Sea Monsters, The Bugaloos, and Lidsville. But, as I've said before...these shows were mainly from the 70's.

Hi all!

Does anyone remember Fun House?? I used to watch that one all of the time when my family only had "basic cable" and didn't have Nick to watch Double Dare. I remember watching that show everyday wishing that I could be a contestant and run through the house at the end to win prizes. At the time I thought it was soooo original, but now that I'm older, it seems surprisingly similar to Double Dare...

What does everyone else think?

I was absolutely terrified of the Sleestacks, and I was a preteen at the time. At a county fair I went to, there was some guy dressed as a Sleestack. I would not leave my parents sides for a minute!

I would love to see that show again....it was too bizarre. Maybe on the Sci-Fi channel? Or Boomerang?
