Anyone know of a few good 80s music download sites? Or compilation CDs? I think I may have outgrown my use for Bearshare... I have a diff time remembering all the music I miss, so it makes it diff to search for it.

i like Yahoo's 'launchcast' site for 80's music.
(though I'm not sure about downloading it. lol)
they play a lot of Sting, the Police, Smiths, Idol, Siouxsie, etc..
it's also cool because when they play a song you don't like, you can rate it. "don't ever play this song again" is one of the options..lol

right now they're playing "one more night" from Phil Collins
(ah, isn't that a romantic song?:p

the link is:
http://www.launch.yahoo.com/launchcast

maybe you can find a link to download stuff.
sorry, that's the best I can do for you :)

ah, I'm not sure if that link will work. hehe

try...
http://www.launch.yahoo.com
(then click at the top "internet radio"

if that doesn't work, well, use your creative imagination...;)
:p

Good idea, Vilji. You could also check out the 80's stations on Live365.com

I can recommend our own Xistenza's Radio Deutschland for inspiration.

If you are looking to download music, your best options are kazaa, audiogalaxy, and winmx. I only use kazaa and audiogalaxy personally.
