1958 Toyah Wilcox is born on this date.

1966 It's Bruce Springsteen's first day at a recording studio as the Castiles cut their song "That's What You Get" at the Mr. Music Inc. studio in Bricktown, N.J.

1967 Rob Base, who became a platinum G with his pal DJ EZ Rock with their "It Takes Two," is born Robert Ginyard.

1969 Martika, the giggly singer known for the No. 1 "Toy Soldiers," is born. She also appeared in the film Annie.

1979 Journey host The Midnight Special, with special guests the Jacksons and Herbie Hancock.

1980 Joy Division's Ian Curtis hangs himself in his Manchester, England, home. :(

1982 Joe Strummer reappears after fleeing the Clash and moving to Paris the month before. He claims his disappearance was due to exhaustion and doubts about his career.

1992 Ozzy Osbourne announces his retirement from touring.

You and a couple of other thousand women probably feel the same way that he is their boyfriend. :lol: There is this one lady in my office that has pics of him all around her desk. :)
