Hey what do you think about the 80's coming back again??? I mean think about this! "The Bangles" are back together. "Wilson Phillips" are coming out again! Deborah and Tiffany both have smacking new music that is getting radio play. I don't know, many of them are surfacing.... Also.... I JUST BOUGHT MY DEF LEPPARD TICKETS!!!! They will be at the RODEO here in Houston Tx. Anybody else like them?? I love them and I'm sooo happy right now...

I say..."Awesome!". A lot of people my age need to be bought to their senses when it comes to music. I just want to say to a few randomly chosen kids..."Okay, the Limp Bizkit CDs are sold out. If I can make a recommendation, and if you're willing to get into a wilder frame of mind, how about some Motley Crue? I mean, with Tommy Lee as the drummer. Or how about Poison? Okay, glam's not your style. How 'bout some Slayer or some Anthrax?". Of course, I'd probably be turned down, but a guy can dream...Can't he?

And to loop it back to the movies, I want people my age to look past the new releases and check out a few older movies. I went past the new releases and I discovered the movies "Working Girl" and "Ruthless People", which are now 2 personal favorites. A lot of treasure can be found in the past. Pop-culture doesn't have to be all "I'll kill myself"-"Oh look, a gag involving semen"-"I'm 18 years old, and I dress like a hooker"-"I'm a teen idol in denial and I'm not okay with homosexuals even though I say I like them after I say I don't like them"-"John, you're a freak! Join the 21st century!". I feel cleansed. In closing, I say to kids my age or thereabouts..."Get back to the 80s! You'll love it here!" http://www.80sxchange.com/ubb/smilies//cool.gif

I definately agree. Music and movies have went downhill in the past few years. It's like everyone has ran out of ideas. Everything is a remake now from movies to music. I am so glad that I was a teenager in the 80's.
