Well, a thread started asking why interest in this forum decreased and the idea of abook club was mentioned so....
I just finished reading 'About A Boy' which I bought right before I knew it was coming out in theatres.
Has anyone read this book? I can't picture it being a movie, though.
No I haven't read that book yet.
Great book. One of Nick Hornby's best books. If you liked High Fidelity, then you will love About a Boy.
The previews of the movie suck. Doesnt interest me in the least.

Actually Flix, after I read it, I wondered what was the point. I mean, WHILE reading it it was gripping. What will happen next? But overall, I thought, well, yeah, that was bound to happen.
I assume I missed something :) Any suggestions?
I loved this book very much. I can not wait to see Hugh Grant in it. He is cute and he fits the role perfectly.
I don't think all books needs to have a point, Sketcher. Some books are just good stories and nothing more. I enjoyed reading the book, but I didn't take anything with me that I could apply to my own life or anything. It is just a cute story about a guy and a boy.
