I used to have the album that the Dukes Of Hazzard theme was on. I believe it was called "Music Man". It was a good album. There was a few songs on it I liked such as "Clyde" (I believe that was the name of it?) and a version of "Do It Again". My favorite was the Dukes Of Hazzard theme though.

I like Waylon's 70s stuff best. Songs like "Luckenbach, Texas," "I’ve Always Been Crazy," "Amanda," and "Just To Satisfy You." When did he do the song that goes "Don't you think this outlaw business done got out of hand..."?

Anyway, from the 80s, I'd have to say "The Theme From The Dukes Of Hazzard," since I can't get "America" to play in my head tonight. :lol:

My friend, you are missing out on something great. If you're really like country music, look for the new two disc collection of Waylon Live. Wow! It contains all of the previously unreleased material from the original live album, and it is outstanding.

Call me biased at the time, but in the 80's the only country song I liked was the theme to the dukes of hazzard. My parents LOVED Country then (And now they say the new country stinks but still listen to it.) and as a Metal Addicted teen, naturally rebelled against the whole Cowboy thing.
