Where were you when Price Chardles and Lady Diana got married?
I was in summer school in grade...um..... 3 I think it was. And I remember seeing it on tv before I had to go to school. I didn't know what was going on and I thought Prince Charles was MR. ROGERS!! :D So for a while, I wondered why Mr. Rogers was wearing a military uniform and I thought it was nice that he was getting married.
My class ended up watching it at school and all the kids were amazed at how long Diana's dress was. Then I realized it wasn't Mr. Rogers.
I was sitting at home watching it on TV. After the wedding was over, me and my best friend went out and (here is something cheesy) pretended that we both had married her and were running away to LaLaland. Sheesh, the things you do as a kid!

I think I was abut 10. My Grandma and I watched it on TV. I was living in Kansas City at the time. I was really never into her until after she died. Now I am interested in her life story.
I remember getting up at some really early hour (5:30 am maybe?) to watch it live from England on NBC. I was really into the whole "Princess" things back then. I think I was 9 or 10 years old. :D

Dawn, I remember getting up at night, too. I was nine. We were living in Chicago then and my mom and my aunt were both totally set on not missing the wedding. I was never much into the princess thing being more of a tomboy but I did watch the wedding.
When I was six I had a crush on prince Charles so I guess that influenced me as well.

Alot of things were going on that day. My nephew was born, a cousin and his wife just welcomed their first child that morning also, and I was on my way down to Kentucky to spend the weekend on a houseboat. I had just graduated out of high so I wasn't playing "marry the prince" that day. LOL
I watched the whole thing with my mom who was sick that weekend. I was the good son who served tea and then we watched the whole thing. It was almost as painful as my own wedding. :D

I was home watching the wedding. Mom was asleep becuse she worked 2nd shift, dad was at work and grandma was on the sun porch reading one of those many romance books. I fell in love with her dress. I swore that when I got married I would have a dress like hers. Let's just say I had a poor mans royal wedding. I loved my dress but it wasn't the same as hers.
I watched it with my parents. I thought she was so beautiful and I wished I was her. ;) :D

We were on vacation in Spain. I remember watching bits and pieces of the wedding on (spanish) television.

I got up at like 6AM to watch it on TV. I remember reminding my dad to wake me up when he got up to go to work!
One of my dad's friends were in England at the time and brought me back a book entitled, "Invitation to a Royal Wedding".
I proudly display that book in my bookcase to this day!
