Well. I just found a new band from the 80's that I like. Blue Murder. Cool sounding music. And yes, NEW to me! Hah! Cool songs that I like so far: Sex Child, ahh.. Oh, I forget the other one.. Also, I think I used to like the song, "Blue Murder" by them. They had one album! That's it?!

Well. A new one is coming very soon. I hope it sounds similar to their first one.. Anyone else like or remember this band? I think a few of them came from Whitesnake. The self-entitled white album were actually a few of these guys. But, they were out of the band at the time it was released, so their pictures weren't in the sleeve. That's a bit silly...

They released two albums: "Blue Murder" (1989) and "Nothin' But Trouble" (1993).

They were indeed a band of notable pedigree with John Sykes (Thin Lizzy, Whitesnake), Tony Franklin (Firm, Jimmy Page), and Carmine Appice (a zillion bands!)... indeed, drummer Cozy Powell (also of a zillion bands) was a part of the original line-up but was gone before the first album was finished.

I loved them. :) They were a great band. A friend of mine has pics with them from a tour they did in the 80's. I just remember one video they had, but can't think of the name. Just remember drooling over the singer out in the rain. :biglick: Was such a sexy shot of him. :)

Jazz, I believe the only video they had on MTV was from the song JELLYROLL, which I hate. ANYHOW, Blue Murder kicks about 457,987 kinds of ass! John Sykes is a frieking MONSTER on guitar. Saw him with Thin Lizzy last year. KICKED ASS!!!!!

Sal, go to half.com and they usually have used copies of thier second CD pretty cheap. It is definately worth the buy!
