This is still one of my favourite one hit wonders. Whatever happened to Tracy's recording career?

Here in the UK she had more hits, Sunglasses, Breakaway and Move Over Darling are the ones that spring to mind for me. She's more of a talented comedienne and I think the singing thing was more of a hobby.

I have a book of one hit wonders at home and Tracy is quoted as saying that she did the album as a joke and was quite suprised at how popular it became, she was even more suprised one song ("They don't know") even hit the US top 40.

She did the album as a joke? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA That's hilarious! And got a top 40 hit too!

I wonder if that's why the video is so wierd? :)

Strange women, but great song. That was her only hit in New Zealand and her comedy show never really clicked with New Zealanders. At least we got the Simpsons out of that show! :) (It was that show wasn't it?)
